Kristen Olson is an award winning photojournalist and a Certified Professional Photographer by the Professional Photographers of America. She currently lives in Valdosta, Georgia and focuses primarily on portraiture, in addition to event photography and editorial work. Her passion and dedication to storytelling and photography allow her to create one of a kind images and treasured artwork.

Kristen's early professional years as a photojournalist for daily newspapers shaped her style for family and individual portraiture, allowing her to tell the unique story of each person and relationship with timeless, creative and natural portraits. Kristen then managed and developed a state of the art portrait studio in Charleston, SC from 2009-2012. She worked as the Studio Manager and Lead Photographer and fine-tuned her skills for portraiture, advanced retouching and photo enhancement, graphic design and layout, home wall design and custom portrait sessions. After saying "yes" to marrying her pilot boyfriend, Kristen was thrilled to join him on his career journey as a combat search and rescue helicopter pilot.

Kristen strives to capture the special relationships families share with one another. Her warm, genuine personality, creative eye and heartfelt work create photographic memories that will always be cherished. Her background in journalism and custom design allows her to accurately and unobtrusively document your family or event and share it in many different formats - custom wall art, albums, prints, digital slide shows, etc. She offers special packages for military families and also works consistently in the Boston, New York, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles areas.
